I tend to put it on in the background. I went through a law enforcement academy, so I know what they do. I’ve also spent some time in the past playing paralegal prosecuting DWI’s, the occasional bar fight and traffic citations in which folks retained lawyers to represent them. I like to watch for differences in how particular officers and agencies approach investigations and how they interview folks.The show has done a pretty good job showing a good bit of the spectrum of how agencies and officers approach the job. The show also does a good job of reminding me why I’m not a cop.
